Along with looking into our Black Lives Matter website, here are two other sources that have been used to research not only facts but also experiences within the movement.

The Black Obituary Project is a collaborative project where African American are pre-writing their obituaries. In which they express how they've died and how they've lived their lives. The purpose is to stress the importance of that "talk" that most African Americans give to their children about how the destruction of the black race is becoming more prominent today. The messages and emotions these public authors convey to the public are enough to bring up the question of How we as a society think writing your obituary before death is okay?
